Pizza Fresh was started by Lefty’s restaurants in the summer of 2010. We would not have considered opening a pizza restaurant if we didn’t think we could bring a uniquely fresh product and approach to our customers.

Traditional Texas BBQ Meat smoked with a mild smokey flavour and smoked to tender perfection. We don`t sell what we wouldn’t eat ourselves. We make all our own sauces, chili, beans, rubs and so on. Nothing is out of a can, We do not add BBQ sauce to any of our meat. There are at least 8 homemade BBQ sauces for you to try and I encourage everyone to try them. All different in flavour and texture.

Our Farmers Market is an agriculture and food only market, including more than 100 members from the Comox and Strathcona Regional Districts exclusively. We are a year round Farmers Market, offering the bounty of the Valley every Saturday.

About our Farm… Markus & Teri Knab Owner/Operators Markus and I didn’t start out as farmers but bit by bit our little 5 acre farm is evolving. I’ve worked as a Phlebotomist in a medical lab for the last 40 years and Markus is a realtor; it just seems crazy that we now have this little farm. I was a city girl for sure but I am just loving my chickens. But we both really love it. We first started as a trout farm in 2009 and over the last few years have added chickens, pigs and sheep; we are hoping to get turkeys in the spring. I am the gardener in the family but we are both very passionate about eating healthy and growing our own food.
